linkbe (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates linkbe.me (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).

4.4 Data that our clients request from their visitors

Certain features of our Service allow the inclusion of forms and other mechanisms to obtain Personal Data from our clients’ visitors (“clients”), questions and answers, request information about orders, from forms created by our clients for their visitors.

Personal information that a form visitor includes on a form belongs to the visitor, unless the visitor has granted rights to that information to the customer of our Service who provided the form. Check with the customer if you have any questions.

The form submission data is managed by the customer who created the form. Our Service treats that information as private and encrypted. Please contact the customer who created the form directly to understand how they use their form responses. Some form building clients may provide you with a privacy policy or notice when completing their form, and we recommend that you review these to understand how the form building client will handle your responses.

We do not sell personal information collected from form responses. We will not make form responses available to third parties without permission, and we will not use contact data collected from our clients’ forms to contact form visitors.

4.4.1 If you are a customer

The data is protected by AES encryption. It is strictly forbidden to request through forms and other mechanisms private information or sensitive content, such as credit card data, passwords, for example.

In order to provide you with useful options for using the services in conjunction with social media and other applications, we may provide you with the option to export your collected information. By exporting and collecting such information, you may be disclosing your visitor’s information to the individuals or organizations responsible for operating and maintaining such applications and third-party sites or sites may access your information. We do not own or operate third-party websites or applications that you connect to. You should review the privacy policies and statements of those websites to ensure the privacy of the information you share with them from your visitors.

We are also not responsible for the use of the information of the visitors that they disclose through forms and other mechanisms to our clients. You as a customer are solely responsible for the use you give to the information requested from your visitors.

4.4.2 If you are a visitor

The data is protected by AES encryption. Never send private information or sensitive content, like credit card details, passwords, for example. By continuing to use forms and other data entry mechanisms, you consent to this website storing the information submitted on behalf of the customer who created the content so that they can respond to the query.

You, as a visitor, can prevent the use of your form data by choosing not to use these functions.

4.5 Cookie data

This site only uses strictly necessary cookies: essential to navigate the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the site. These cookies will generally be first party session cookies. Read more in our privacy policy on use of cookies.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that can include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies, such as tags and scripts, are also used to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

12. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivable the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.

According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

12.2. our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can easily be found on the home page of our website;

12.3. users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page;

12.4. users are able to change their personal information by contact us.

13. Your data protection rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what data we collect about you, request to delete your data, and not sell (share) it.

Please note that asking us to delete or stop sharing your data may affect your experience with us and you may not be able to participate in certain membership programs or services that require the use of your personal information to function. But in no case will we discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

14. Service providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

We may use remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimise and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. Always check that it corresponds to the official page of the payment processor, avoid phishing and any other fraud. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know through our regular help channels. We are not responsible in any case for problems or inconveniences that you present with the payment processor.

For our part, we will not store or collect your payment information. The information to make your payment must be provided only in the payment processor window corresponding to the option chosen by you.

We will only store the Services corresponding to your order, transaction, billing, expiration date and control data for your future reference, in encrypted form.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”).
